		<description>It is a relief to see Oncom back in action, at least for now. John Inglis is the Godfather of hyperlocal and he and Jill have created something that is of enormous value to the community. If it fails it will be a testament to the fact that the authorities in general only pay lip service to engaging with the community and see the citizen activism engendered by the Oncom network as an inconvenience. 

If Oncom does disappear I predict that it will be replaced in a few years time by a costly Government funded &#039;community portal&#039; that nobody ever uses.</description>
