Martin Stabe reports that Trinity Mirror is using of Moveable Type for its new Buckinghamshire Advertiser site.
As I noted here previously TM is using Typepad for its postcode-based sites in the north of England.
I’m still not convinced that a blogging platform is the right choice for a local paper’s entire web operation.

These days, the Teeside sites are run on MT as well. Looks like a modification of the same template, in fact.

Thanks for the feedback. As Martin’s spotted, we’re using Movable Type (rather than Typepad) for both the Buckinghamshire Advertiser site and our hyperlocal sites in the North East. I look forward to keeping you updated as these initiatives develop…
